Praising the Pre-rade

In response to: Get out and vote, Tilghman urges freshmen

Published on November 5, 2008

Pre-rade (Notebook, Oct. 8)? What a brilliant idea! What incredible
symbolism!

Every time I march in the P-rade, I am thrilled, and the biggest thrill is passing through the senior class, because of the emotional rush they exchange with the alumni.

Starting the frosh off with something like this is marvelous. “Well done” to those who put it together.
