Don came to Princeton via Mercersburg. He majored in economics, was on the edito-
rial board of The Tiger, and was a member of the Glee Club, the parking squad, and Arbor Inn. He also was in the Triangle Show cast.

Don became an advertising manager for Ametech Corp. and lived for several years in Moline, Ill., and Rock Island, Ill. During the war he was a volunteer ambulance driver with the American Field Service in Italy, France, Germany, and North Africa.

In 1950, Don married Ruth McMurtrie McCall. They moved to Pittsburgh in 1955 when Don joined KM&G Advertising/Public Relations. He opened the company’s Houston office in 1960 with a staff of four. In 1971 the staff numbered 28, and Don was named a senior vice president of the company. He became a director of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

In 1981, Don retired to Sun City West, Ariz. He and Ruth later moved to Hendersonville to be near their family.

Don is survived by Ruth; a stepdaughter, Margaret Williams; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. We are saddened by the loss of this good classmate.
