Great pictures that capture a great period. They brought a smile to my face.

The late night "riotous cacophany" (slide 16) is awesome. We resurrected it in 86 - sans the guns - and I think it is still going today. In late '86, every midnight, my roommates turned off the lights and blew an orange plastic horn out the window. Within days, another room started immediately retorting "you suck!" (think it was Ethan Stein's room), and someone else would let out a primal scream. Within weeks, dozens of holderites starting following this sequence by chanting "hoooo" for several minutes. This became the "Holder Ho". The horn disappeared but the general midnight cacophony lasted for years.
