Robert Wiedenmayer died April 28, 2008.

He was born in Newark, N.J. He attended Montclair Academy and Lawrenceville, where he was on the student council and golf team and served as house president.

After Princeton, Bob worked with the Newark Clearing House Association for two years. In 1942 he hiked across the country and relocated in San Francisco with a group of lifeboat, winch, and davit manufacturers from a New Jersey boat company. During the war he worked with the Navy Amphibious Command, the Army Transport Service, and the Marine Commission.

Bob switched to the securities business. He became a broker and was licensed with Kidder, Peabody & Co. in San Francisco, from which he retired. His hobbies included maintaining orchards, farm machinery, and two antique cars.

He married Margaret Lambert, and they became parents of three sons and one daughter. In addition, they have two grandsons. To Bob’s family and friends, we extend our loving sympathy and fond remembrances.
