Paul Muldoon, professor and chairman of the Lewis Center for the Arts, speaks to a class of Trenton Central High School West students May 11 as part of a student- initiated program to bring University creative-writing faculty into area high school English classes. The program was conceived by Shawn Kothari ’11 as a way for the University “to extend its resources to the surrounding community” while energizing local students. Two lecturers in the creative-writing program, Sheila Kohler and Susanna Moore, visited the high school earlier in the semester.
