Glen prepared at Blair Academy and graduated from Princeton with the Class of 1940.   He served with the U.S. Maritime Service during World War II from 1943 to 1945. Except for the war years, he engaged in the advertising end of the publishing business.

At the time of our class’s 25th reunion, Glen was publishing a local magazine in Los Angeles, using experience he had derived from stints in the advertising and circulation departments of publishing houses while living and working in New York City; Darien, Conn.; Penn Valley, Pa.; Cuernavaca, Mexico; Ponte Vedra, Fla.; Bermuda; and Jamaica.

During his career, Glen worked in advertising for Printer’s Ink, Fortune magazine, and Los Angeles magazine, before starting his own creation, Visitor Publications.

Glen is survived by his wife, Sally Briggs Maitland; two daughters, Barbara Maitland Rounds and Linda Maitland Gregg; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To all his family, the class sends its sympathy.
