As I write this letter, television and newspapers are reporting widespread violence to Israel throughout the Middle East after the release of the U.N. anti-Israel Gladstone report.

Jeremy Ben-Ami ’84, in his interview (A Moment With, Oct. 7), never mentions that the Palestinian government has sworn the destruction of Israel, as of course have the Iranians.

Please ask Ben-Ami what percentage of Israelis he believes would support his proposal to cede part of Jerusalem to the murderous Palestinians.

I am a staunch supporter of Israel, as I believe are the majority of Americans. Ben-Ami should join the administration of Obama, whose speech before the U.N. was described by the leading Middle East expert as the strongest anti-Israel statement ever made by an American president, one that left him “shaken.”

Israel deserves a better spokesman.
