A member of a family with many Princeton connections, Paul was widely involved in civic affairs. Besides being active in the United Way of Philadelphia and a member of the Down Town Club, he was or had been president of the Penn Valley Civic Association, the Philadelphia Systems and Procedures Association, and the Federation of Lower Merion Civic Association.

Paul followed his father, Paul Vincent Kellogg, a career Army officer and member of the Class of 1914, to Princeton and the Army, serving as a field artillery officer during World War II. He retired from business as vice president of acquisitions and mergers for ARA Services (now Aramark Corp.) after prior posts at United Aircraft Corp. and Kimberly Clark Corp.

His Princeton roommates were Geg Buttenheim, Steve Lamb, and Ted Schulte. Senior year he was manager of Quadrangle Club, where he also lived.

In addition to his father, Paul’s Princeton ties included his brother, William O. Kellogg ’49; his son, Peter N. Kellogg ’78; and his niece, Julie Kellogg Coburn ’80. He is survived by Jean Kellogg, his wife of 62 years; his daughters, Katherine Kellogg and Betsy Hamilton; and his son, to all of whom the class extends condolences.
