Bob Everitt died May 7, 2008.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., he came to Princeton from Newark Academy. At Princeton he majored in politics, ate at Colonial Club, and was polo manager. During senior year he roomed with Bill Smith, Ned Scudder, Dick Scudder, “Phoebe” Hustead, and Bud Bennett at 231 Walker.

Bob lived much of his life in Mexico, where he went to work for Eastern Airlines after serving in the armed services. There he met his first wife, Deborah. Following their divorce, he married Maria Teresa, who predeceased him in 1996. We know little of his working career.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Howe Everitt and Sandra Everitt; a stepson, Peter Duchin; and a granddaughter, Tiana Everitt del Castillo.
