Frank Ford died July 1, 2010, of multiple myeloma.  

Frank was the son of Franklin Ford Sr. 1913; grandson of Princeton politics professor Henry Jones Ford, Woodrow Wilson 1879’s interstate commerce commissioner; and brother of the late Henry “Hank” Jones Ford ’56.  

A graduate of St. Albans School, Frank joined Elm Club at Princeton and enjoyed working with WPRU. His roommates were Frank Henderson and Emile Pessagno.

Frank had a long broadcasting career. In retirement, he made life memorable for those on tour in the limousine he drove. He was an avid tennis player and golfer,  

An involved father, Frank and his wife, Mary Kathryn, planned many pleasurable activities for their children, who remember him fondly.  

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by their children, Carolyn Ford West, Richard Hoover Ford, and Barbara Ford Nail; his sister, Virginia Fletcher; five grandchildren; his cousin, John Skilling ’55; and several nieces and nephews, including Jennifer Howlett ’74, Crispin Littlehales ’75, and the Rev. Louise Howlett ’83. The class extends its appreciation for a life well lived.
