During World War II, John navigated a B-20 Army Air Force bomber.

He graduated from Princeton in 1948 and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1957.

While attending Penn he married Ruby Kern. They had three beloved sons and ultimately enjoyed three grandchildren.

John joined an Allentown, Pa., law firm and soon became a partner. This led to various business involvements, including the presidency of a local bank — all in all, a rewarding professional career.

John’s foremost recreation was flying his airplane (with Ruby as co-pilot) — often to distant places such as Alaska, the Bahamas, and Labrador.

He died on March 25, 2010.

John believed in living a full, busy, and, above all, enjoyable life, which he surely did. To Ruby and the family, we send this tribute with our warm wishes.
