In this clip, pianist Dudley Moore mocks Beethoven mercilessly and pays homage to him at the same time. His facial expressions, on top of everything else, do it for me. I think I laugh at this performance partly because it is ludicrous and partly out of sheer amazement at the quality of the work. As a composer myself, I appreciate how hard this is to do!
