Following up on last year’s report from a task force on the eating clubs (Cam pus Notebook, June 2), this year a different working group of students, faculty, and staff is looking at ways to improve social and residential life on campus and in the residential colleges. We also are examining the role of fraternities and sororities at Princeton and the possibility of reinstating a campus pub.

I am co-chairing the working group with Cynthia Cherrey, the University’s new vice president for campus life. We encourage alumni to share their thoughts and suggestions with the working group through a website at www.princeton.edu/livingprinceton/. We are hoping to issue our report sometime in the spring semester.
