In a Jan. 19 Campus Notebook story on a survey of graduate students, satisfaction data for campus services were based on the population of doctoral students who had used each of the services.
The photo of Professor Bernard Chazelle that accompanied the “Last academic standing” feature in the Jan. 19 issue was taken by Celia Chazelle. The photo credit was incorrect.
“The history teacher,” a feature in the Feb. 9 issue, incorrectly stated that George Washington and John Adams both kept slaves during their time at the President’s House in Philadelphia. Adams did not hold slaves.
