Howie Quinn died Dec. 4, 2010, in Clinton, N.Y.

He was born in Utica, N.Y., and prepared for Princeton at Utica Country Day School, where he was on the football and baseball teams. At Princeton he was a member of the class squash team, the Glee Club, and Key and Seal.

Howie was with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in New York City. After he moved to Atlanta, he became Metropolitan’s supervisor of sales and administrator of group insurance for the Southeast. He was a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club and was with Chartered Life Underwriters of Atlanta for over 30 years. He also worked with Warren H. Sexton Co. as a real estate and insurance broker.

Later in life he traveled widely in Europe, the Near and Far East, and the Caribbean. He was a lifelong bachelor and at the time of his death was living in the same house in Utica in which he was born.

With our sad remembrances of a true and loyal classmate, we feel fortunate to have known him.
