(Wipf and Stock) For years, Armstrong was intimately involved with baseball, playing it at Princeton and in the minors, and then working in the front office of the Philadelphia Athletics and later the Baltimore Orioles. He organized the first public relations departments for both teams and his achievements include producing the first personalized, performing mascot. After many years in this successful career, Armstrong experienced a spiritual epiphany, which he chose to follow. This book documents how he left baseball and followed his calling by God to become a Presbyterian minister. Armstrong is the Ashenfelter Professor of Ministry and Evangelism Emeritus at Princeton Theological Seminary.
