(Spring Journal) In what the editor, Thomas Singer, calls an unconventional “travel” book, the contributors to this volume look at how citizens of 18 cities around the world experience the “intersection of their souls with the souls of their cities.” The contributors, who are Jungian analysts and cultural thinkers, evoke the souls of their own home cities by exploring history, geography, and personal anecdote. A physician and Jungian psychoanalyst, Singer also is the author of the forthcoming Ancient Greece/Modern Psyche.
