After the war, Elliott worked as an investment officer, first at Citibank and then at Smith Barney Harris Upham, from which he retired as a vice president in 1983. Following retirement he worked at the Cranford (N.J.) Travel Agency, in line with his enjoyment of travel. The lure of foreign lands was also reflected in his passion for stamp collecting.

In 2001, after years of devoted care by Elliott, Terry died. Elliott is survived by his daughter, Kathleen; his son, John ’73; and two grandsons. To them, the class sends its sympathy.
