Jim Ayala '84 and friends deliver solar lanters to remote communities
In addition to running Hybrid Social Solutions, a company he founded that brings essential goods and services to poor, remote rural villages in the Philippines, Jim Ayala ’84 also is chairman of the Solar Energy Foundation Philippines. This video documents a campaign the foundation launched in April 2011, “Ride for Light,” that aimed to call attention to its mission to fight poverty by providing solar energy to remote villages.
