News producer and sometimes reporter for KLFY-TV in Lafayette, La.; fill-in sports-talk host, play-by-play announcer, and disc jockey for local radio stations. Princeton major: politics.

What he does: As the producer of the morning newscast, he decides what will be covered and makes sure everything flows smoothly. While the producer title “sounds glamorous, we do a lot of the dirty work,” says Auzenne, who is from Lafayette and got his job through connections made at a job fair.

What he likes: The interaction with colleagues and the listeners and viewers he meets in the field. When people recognize him, “it reminds you why you got into the business — to be the person informing them of what’s going on. ... My parents always ask me, ‘You graduated from Princeton — why are you working at a job where you are not making any money?’ Because I love it, and that’s all that matters.”

Down the road: Move back to the Northeast for a sports play-by-play position in a major market in TV or radio. “If that doesn’t pan out, I would love to host Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, or The Price Is Right.”
