Tired of living under the authority of his father, Ben goes to live with his Japanese friend, and they embark on an exploration of Japan’s countercultural movement. Hideo is a writer, who is a former assistant professor of Japanese literature at Princeton. Scott is an assistant professor of Japanese and Japanese literature at Macalester College.
