Clint Denny died May 10, 2013, in Hockessin, Md.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and entered Princeton from Columbia High School in Maplewood, N.J., where he was on the Publications Board and sang with the Glee Club.
At Princeton, Clint majored in psychology, was a member of Whig-Clio, and sang with the Glee Club. After graduation he served in the Army for more than three years, mostly in the Pacific theater, and was discharged as a first lieutenant.
Clint joined DuPont after his discharge and eventually became personnel-development manager. He retired after a 39-year career with DuPont. His retirement years were spent volunteering for the Hagley Museum and Library and participating in the University of Delaware’s Academy of Lifelong Learning. He was a 50-year member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant and held numerous offices there.
Clint’s survivors include Katharine, his wife of 63 years; a son, James B. Denny; daughters Elizabeth Camody and Virginia Longfellow; and five grandchildren.
