Robert Hosmer Morse III ’43

BOB DIED Mon., Mar. 15, 1993, at his home in Vancouver. He was 72.

Born in Indianapolis, Bob graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy before coming to Princeton. During WWII, he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Bob's business career was spent for the most part in the upper executive levels. VP of FairbanksMorse Co. of Chicago before moving to Canada, he became president of the Canadian FairbanksMorse Co. Ltd., as well as Robert Morse Corp. of Montreal.

Bob and his family spent many winters in Palm Beach, maintaining a residence on Ocean Blvd. He was a member of the Bath & Tennis Club and the Everglades Club.

Bob is survived by his wife, the former Anne Coates; three sons, Henry C., Colin R., and Ian C.; a daughter, Virginia Stead; and three grandchildren.
