Lyman Gillan Gilmore ’24

LYMAN GILMORE died May 4, 1992, in Colorado Springs where he had been living the past two years. After graduation he taught history at the Harvard Preparatory School. He was with General Electric from 1927 until retirement in 1966. Until 1987 he resided in New Canaan, where he served as executive secretary of the chamber of commerce and where he was active in the First Presbyterian Church and in many social organizations. At Princeton he was a member of the Triangle Club and of the crew. He is survived by his sons William and Lyman Jr. and by four grandchildren,
