The Evolution Question at Princeton, 1845-1929

Home to many of the preeminent conservative Protestants in America, Princeton during the late 19th and early 20th centuries helped America interpret the new concept of evolution. In Process and Providence: The Evolution Question at Princeton, 1845-1929, Bradley Gundlach ’80 explores the ways in which the professors defined their relationship with evolution, biblical inerrancy, and modern science during this critical era. Gundlach is a professor of history at Trinity International University.
