I knew Louis as a member of staff at Queen’s University of Belfast and member of the Delphic Players, an amateur theater group he organized to put on the Nordic dramas and Yeats plays he loved, but felt were neglected. He united Catholic and Protestant communities and inspired us with his vision. Few of us appreciated his academic credentials.
