I am still heartbroken that Alan passed away. Way too soon. He was a mentor and employer, as I worked with him and Richard Zelens, in his studio creating fabrics and then wallpaper. We had such fun. He was generous, funny, and elegant. Changed my life, too. Some people are irreplaceable in ones heart, and Alan was in mine.
