Art died May 22, 2010, after several years in a long-term nursing facility. He had broken his hip and had several strokes that prevented him from having physical therapy necessary for a hip operation.
At Princeton, Art joined Court, majored in electrical engineering, and was active in the marching band and the engineering magazine. After Princeton, Art served two years with the Army and married his love, Sue. They had four children.
Art was hired by Procter & Gamble after graduation. He worked on some of the earliest applications of computers for manufacturing. He spent 37 years with P&G, retiring in 1994.
For the next decade he and Sue traveled and enjoyed life, especially in Hilton Head, S.C. Art served numerous charitable organizations. He and Sue liked the International Butterfly Show at Krohn Conservatory and the Arnoff Center for the Arts, both in Cincinnati.
