The dangerous adventure leads Marwick to the Golden Triangle in Burma, the back alleys of Bangkok, a monastery in Cambodia, and finally to the British hill station of Darjeeling, India. Marwick’s discovery that he is the father of an unexpected child further tests his honor and courage. Graham served in Vietnam in 1969-70 as a U.S. Army officer, and subsequently traveled throughout Southeast Asia. A former headmaster of an American international school in France, he recently retired from teaching mathematics at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C.
