Nick died June 1, 2010, in Oklahoma City, having survived testicular cancer surgery at age 2.

He grew up in Oklahoma and came to Princeton from Shattuck Military Academy, where he lettered in football, track and wrestling and was on its crack drill team. After three years at Princeton he transferred to Oklahoma City University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He also graduated from the university’s law school, serving on its law review.

In 1968 he entered the Army through ROTC and served as a JAG officer in Thailand. He returned to the practice of law for 35 years with the Fellers Snider firm. Nick was a life master in bridge, an 18-handicap golfer, and a movie buff. He was a member of the 75 Social Club, the English-Speaking Union, Oklahoma state and county bar associations, and served on the board of Crescent Academy School, a multisensory learning enterprise.

Nick married Judy Hollaway in 1966, and is survived by her and a daughter, Holly Louise. He was a loyal and dedicated husband, father, and friend and will be remembered for his humor, dedication to the law, and love of his family. The class sends deepest condolences to the family on his passing.
