Eddie died Dec. 10, 2010, in Savannah, Ga., after a long illness.

He came to Princeton from the Horace Mann School in New York City. At Princeton, he majored in English as a member of the Special Program in Humanities and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He ate his meals at Court Club, where he served on its bicker committee for two years. During his senior year he roomed with Zane Klein, John Lewis, and Al Casazza.

Eddie graduated from Harvard Law School in 1962, and combining his legal education with security analysis, joined the New York Society of Security Analysts. He held executive positions in various industries, including commercial printing, telecommunications, and recorded music.

In 2000, Eddie retired from business due to ill health but pursued one of his favorite activities — being an avid reader of American and foreign literature.

To his widow, Ellen, the class extends its sincerest condolences.
