Frank died from cardiac arrest Nov. 11, 2010.  

Frank entered Princeton from New Rochelle (N.Y.) High School. His Army service was in the Pacific theater, where he was a field artillery officer with the 33rd Infantry Division. Returning to Princeton, he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma XI.  

Frank was our class agent from 1950 to 1955, class vice president from 1955 to 1960, and president from 1965 to 1970. From 1980 to 1982 he served as national chairman of the Princeton Alumni Council.  

Frank retired in 1985 as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Doremus & Co., where he had worked since 1954. He served as a governor of the New York Council of the American Association of Advertising Agencies from 1973 to 1975.  

After his retirement, Frank served as president of the Blueberry Treatment Center and was on the advisory council of Covenant House in New York and the board of directors at Silver Hill in New Canaan, Conn. He will be remembered for his love and knowledge of poetry, his humor and intellect, his vast network of friends, and his passion for his family.  

Frank is survived by his wife, Joan; his former wife, Diane Burke, and their children, Quentin, Darcy ’78, and Jocelyn ’81; and eight grandchildren. The class expresses its sympathy to the family.
