Every story, letter, and remembrance at paw.princeton.edu offers a chance to comment On the first day of fall classes, PAW used Facebook and Twitter to ask alumni if they had any suggestions for the Class of 2015. Here are some of their responses:

Chloe Angyal ’09: “It doesn’t matter how good you think your BS is — your preceptor can totally tell when you haven’t done the reading.”

Christina Propst ’91: “Enjoy the black squirrels, graduate school carillon, Hoagie Haven, Outdoor Action, arch sings (Tigressions!), intramural sports, and the chugga-chugga of the Dinky as much and as often as you can.”

David Cardinal ’81: “Spend less time reading other people’s advice and make your own opinions.”

Osei Kwakye ’09: “Step outside of your comfort zone; you’d be surprised what you are capable of.”

Donnica Moore ’81 p’15: “When they say ‘suggested reading,’ they mean ‘required reading’; introduce yourself to the professor (even in HUGE lecture courses); the most important part of your education will come from your peers, rather than your courses; every so often, call your mother!”
