Vic died April 26, 2011.

Vic came to Princeton from Mercersburg Academy in central Pennsylvania. He played guard on Princeton’s greatest football teams, including the undefeated teams of 1950 and 1951. He played interclub basketball and golf as a member of Cottage Club and was a member of the Nassoons. After graduation Vic served in the Navy as gunnery officer on the U.S.S. New Jersey. He graduated from Dickinson Law School and later had his own law firm in the Harrisburg area.

Vic enjoyed squash and tennis. During his Navy service he developed a love of the water that he continued by sailing. He frequently attended events at Princeton, especially football games.

Vic is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Ann. His first wife, Suzanne, the mother of his children, died in 1967. In addition to his two sons (including David ’87) and their wives, Vic is survived by four stepchildren, seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson. The class sends its deepest sympathy to all of them.
