In 1965, he joined Goldman Sachs, where he served out his corporate career.

In 1951, Sidney married Elizabeth Houghton, and they had three children. With Elizabeth’s three children from a previous marriage, the couple raised six children together before retiring to what had originally been their vacation home in Marion, Mass.

Sidney was predeceased by his brother, John L. Weinberg ’47. In addition to Betty, he is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth and Sydney; son Peter; stepsons James McCord and Alan McCord; and stepdaughter Laura McCord Grauer. The class expresses its sympathy to the family.
