JERE COWAN MARSH of Wilmington, Del., died May 20, 1990. He was 58. Jere came to Princeton from Youngstown, Ohio. He prepared at the Peddie School.

At Princeton, Jere majored in chemical engineering, was treasurer of Terrace Club, and was a member Whig Clio.

After graduation, Jere worked for Standard Oil for several years. In 1958, he went on to Harvard Business School and earned his M.B.A.

His first job was with the Corco Co. in Columbus, Ohio. He was V.P. and general manager of plastic liquidbox division. In 1976, he became general manager of the beverage bottle division of Hoover Universal in Wilmington. From 197984, he was V.P. of Atlantic Aviation. At the time of his death he was owner and president of Eldercare/Molter Associates, a home healthcare business.

Jere's many hobbies and interests included the Boy Scouts of America, running air shows, the RotaryClub, choir president of the Concord Presbyterian Church, and getting a realestate license. He also was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating. Jere was honored for making an outstanding contribution to his community.

To his widow, JoAnn, and his sons and daughters, the Class of 1954 extends its sympathy.
