THE CLASS LOST one of the Reidinger twins on Dec. 23, 1993, when Russ passed away from complications with cancer. Russ and his twin, Ray, the sons

of Albert D. '18, entered Princeton in the fall of 1941 from North Plainfield, N.J. At Princeton, Russ joined Key and Seal and after service as a gunnery

and sonar officer in antisubmarine warfare with the Seventh Fleet in the Pacific, Russ received his degree in chemistry from Princeton in 1947 and joined his brother Ray at DuPont.

Russ married Ellabell Haynes and they had two sons, Russell A. Jr. and Mark, and a daughter, Kim. Russ was a member of the Avondale (Penn.) Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and an active participant. In addition, he was a scoutmaster of is church's Boy Scout troop and was a volunteer or the local Meals on Wheels. He was also very interested in environmental issues and headed a New Garden Township advisory board.

The class extends its deep sympathy to the farmily, including Russell's sister, Shirley Ostendarp, and a grandson.
