More than 1,000 members of the University community have joined the call for a campus-wide “Day of Action” on March 6 in response to the current political climate and the Trump administration.

Faculty, staff, and students will gather in the Frist Campus Center to hold teach-ins and lectures engaging topics related to civil rights, knowledge and democracy, international peace and security, and climate and environmental challenges. Throughout the day, the focus will shift from understanding these pressing issues to exploring specific actions.

According to organizers, the goal is “to reaffirm the responsibilities of a community devoted to scholarship, the use of knowledge for the common good, and the ideals of diversity, free-speech, democracy, and justice.” For more information, visit dayofaction.princeton.edu.
