Gaza: An Inquest into its Martyrdom (University of California Press) is Norman Finkelstein *87’s report on the effects of Israeli military operations on the Gaza Strip and its people, more than half of whom are under 18. Though Israel asserts the operations are in self-defense, he argues the country has violated international law and that human-rights organizations have failed Gaza.
