I'm a pediatrician. Pursue what you love. The private practice of medicine has changed. Solo practice is a thing of the past. Now you'll need to join a large group in order to practice. Most importantly, you want to look forward to what you do everyday. Consider the financial aspect of your field, but also look beyond it.
