Chris died Sept. 7, 2011.

His father, Alexander B., was a member of the Class of 1918. Chris came to us from Deerfield Academy. At Princeton he was a philosophy major, ate at Dial, and roomed with Mal Cleland. He sang with the Tigertones and supervised the production and sales of their 1950-51 album.

In 1958 he earned a degree from the Pratt Institute in industrial design and made his career in that field. He worked for General Electric and then started his own firm, Interactive Graphics. He was then president of Maritime in Wayne, Pa.

Chris is survived by his wife, Mary; and their nine children, Mary, Christopher, Alexander, Katerie, Cecilia, Colette, Joseph, Clare, and Michael.
