The museum skeleton in the On the Campus photo in the June 7 issue is certainly not Guyot’s Allosaurus. It looks like a horse – Equus or perhaps Pliohippus. The fanged creature looming over Professor Ward’s shoulder is a Smilodon (saber-toothed tiger). Allosaurus lived 150 million years or so before (and is several yards away in the museum) these mammal species.
