Dwight died July 11, 2019.

He prepared for Princeton at Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, Wis., where he was active in football, basketball, and track. He left Princeton after his freshman year and completed his undergraduate work at Dickinson College and Ripon College, majoring in French and economics. He went on to the University of Indiana and University of Pittsburgh graduate schools of business to earn an MBA.

Dwight’s career in banking spanned nearly 40 years, including Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, where he began investment research and analysis; Farmers Bank and Trust Co., in Hanover, Pa., as president and COO; and People’s National Bank in Lebanon, Pa., as president and CEO. In 1993 he joined the Pennsylvania Office of the State Treasurer as an investment officer and account manager, retiring in 2008.

During his career he served on various boards and community associations and was an avid fan of tennis, jazz, playing bridge, and gourmet food.

Dwight is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marlys; his children from his first marriage to Barbara Hegley, Victoria, Sandra, Judy, and David; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his son Daniel.
