In Response to: An hour-long view of paradise

Regarding the ongoing joke about the School of Architecture as “arguably the ugliest building on campus”:  

I’d like to think we have a sense of humor at the School of Architecture, and were pretty good-natured about the whole thing. I don’t remember registering any complaints. I am sure you meant well, but it’s quite a stretch to call it a “brutalist masterpiece.” It is a well-constructed building that serves the school’s needs admirably. In 2007, the image of the school received a significant upgrade when the small addition we call “the hyphen” was completed. Designed by Princeton alumni Stephen Cassell ’83 and Adam Yarinsky *86, the project has received American Institute of Architecture Awards in both New Jersey and New York State.
