A senior thesis production by Jeff Kuperman ’12

English major Jeffrey Kuperman ’12 wrote and is directing an original play titled “Roll!” for his senior thesis. The piece began as a meditation on Albert Camus’ essay “The Myth of Sisyphus.”

For this behind-the-scenes video, PAW visited an early rehearsal and spoke with Kuperman, adviser Bob Sandberg ’70, and members of the cast. As the footage shows, the production combines movement and acting while leaving room for original video clips as well.

“Roll!” will be performed April 27–29 and May 1–3 at the Lewis Center’s Matthews Acting Studio at 185 Nassau Street.
