Met Russ (and Karen) in Brazil in the late ’70s, where we later started a joint venture with Wheaton Glass. We were close friends ever since, and once back in the States, Russ joined me on several boat trips on the ICW. I hadn’t heard from him in some time, found that his number was no longer in service, and started searching. Wonderful person, and I’m shocked.
