Allison Dodd Teaze ’45
Al Teaze died Aug. 28, 2008.
He entered Princeton from Deerfield and joined Cannon Club. He enrolled in a pre-medical program at Princeton, enabling him to get both his Princeton degree and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1947.
He married Jane Blish of Fairfield, Conn., and they took up residence in Bloomfield, N.J., later moving to Upper Montclair.
Al served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict and was discharged as a captain in 1952. Al remained active throughout his life in various professional organizations in the Montclair area and he and Jane enjoyed tennis and sailing.
Al lost Jane in 1978. He subsequently married Josephine, who survives him along with his children, Pamela, Elizabeth, and James; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
