David Morris Hatheway ’37

Dave died Nov. 5, 2009, at his home in Bloomfield, Conn.  

Born in Hartford, Conn., Dave attended the Kingswood School before coming to Princeton, where he majored in economics.

He later was classified as an accredited insurance underwriter, serving as auditor for Travelers Insurance Co. in Hartford. He attended the Hartford College of Insurance, where he earned an additional bachelor’s degree. An avid bridge player, Dave played regularly at the Town and Country Club in Hartford and continued playing in Bloomfield.

Dave’s wife, Doris Frank Hatheway, predeceased him. He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Lisa Hathe-

way and Dan and Alison Hatheway; five grandchildren; and his sister, Anne H. Clark.
