Homer Leslie Loomis Jr. ’36

AT 77, HOMER DIED Oct. 7, 199 1, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga.

He graduated from St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H. At Princeton he was a member of Cloister Inn. He withdrew from Princeton in Feb. 1935.

During WWII, he served in Germany with the Second Armored Division.

Among his business affiliations were the Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner Corp. of Detroit, of which he was chief executive officer. With his wife, since deceased, Homer owned the Dabbs Loomis School, a daycare organization located in Dunwoody, Ga.

Homer is survived by sons Dr. Gaston P. Loomis and Gary Plantiff; a brother, Fletcher; and four grandchildren.
