John W. Sibley ’55

John “Sib” Sibley died May 2, 2010, in New York City. He was the son of George H. Sibley ’20.  

John graduated from Collegiate School. At Princeton he majored in history, was active in intramural sports, and was a member of Elm Club. Senior year he roomed with Henry Kaplan and Spiros Segalas. He was a good friend of Jack Smith.

A lifelong New Yorker, John worked in television and later in retail sales with T. Anthony Ltd.

John’s wife, Louise Diggs Sibley, died in 1998. To his stepdaughter, Grace, step-grandchildren, and many friends, the class extends deepest sympathy.
